A tribute to Ponting - Overrated and Underrated players in his regime. Analysis on their world cup performance

Dear Punter ,
You have shown the cricketing world what leadership is about.
You made the best of cricketing heads break their heads in attempt to beat your team
You have raised the bar of International cricket by constantly challenging anyone who tagged as "best" and surpassing them.
25000 + international runs and 69 centuries speaks of the run machine inside you.
Your big match innings capability(though it hurt us sometimes personally :) ) speaks of your calibre.

In all, we have witnessed a great leader in you and a great entertainer .
Hope to see you play now with more freedom now and make more runs.

This is just attempt to see which players are over-rated and under-rated in his regime:

Top players overrated -
1. Mitchell Johnson - rated as the spearhead of Aussie failed to deliver most no.of times .
2. Shaun Tait - He is Mr.Akthar of Aussie squad. Need not explain further.
3. David Hussey - He was expected to do an all-rounder job, with abilties of bowling at death and batting the slog overs - never had a great day at office.
4. Cameron White- Yet another investment wasted - tauted as the future captain and already captianing the T20 format, he is a big let down for ponting. Ponting had the faith that he would replace a "symonds" and it failed .
5. Brad Hodge considered as a future replacement for Ricky Ponting failed to deliver.

The duo of Hussey and White in the lower middle with their inconsistency made Aus team look beatable.

Under Rated players in Ponting's regime :

Ponting was always eager( atleast looked eager from outside) to replace the older with the new squad without letting the new guys get along with the oldies. This made him choose the above with too much "belief" and that killed some careers.

1. stuart clark - he is very naggy bowler to come as first change and whole world knew how dangerous he was except ponting.
2. Nathen Bracken - His economy was 4.x even in the match he has last played. He was getting old , but he was very effective and should have
been given a little more run.
3. Brad Hogg - Another case of washing hands too fast.
4. Dirk Nannes - wonderful talent hardly recognized in Ponting's times.
4. Symonds - Somehow he should have been groomed better without ego clashes . Captaincy is about management of various individuals. Symonds is a costly miss.

What did they miss in this world cup ?

1. Where is shaun marsh - he has great record against Ind as well as on Indian Pitches .
2. Missing out Bollinger with injury is a real blow. But again he is not recognized well in Aus.
3. James Hopes/Andrew Mc Donald would have been a better all-rounder than Steven smith with their IPL experience in India.
4. Why is Dirk Nannes on bench . The fact is that he is their best bowler in shorter format.

Going forward in future :

1. David Hussey and Cameron white - should shoulder the responsibility at the highest level or invest in someone else.
2. Siddle and Nannes should be in the squad ahead of Tait.
3. Paine is a quality batsman and should be groomed properly.
4. Nauthan Hauritz is still their best pick in spin and should be carried on with.

Hope you all like it.

"The Wednesday " ahead in World Cup - 10 things that makes it "more special"

It would be a tense "The Wednesday" -  on the 30th of March when the the biggest of matches is live.
I would thank my manager who gave me an optional off on this day. Hope all follow this -to let people go with their soul.

Few things that make the day most special.

1.  Top of the list :  Sachin - In the last three success against Pakistan "Ton"dulkar is the key with a thrilling 98 in one match and a half century followed by two wickets  in another - A day cannot be bigger for him and the whole cricket in India, if he scores his 100th ton and guides India to victory. It could help him break the myths around him about big match innings played by him  and team fate with his centuries and also  help "silence " so-called crtics atleast for the rest of his career in the biggest possible way .
He should tame Afridi's men - and contradict their statements with a bat.

2.  Yuvi -  the man behind the India success is going to have a day out in his home ground. What a day it would be for him . He can have the best day on Field. It would be a life time oppurtunity  for him to take the MOM on such an occasion infront of his people.

3. India's track record against Pakistan - Dhoni has handled several kinds of pressure - but this has to be the biggest to retain the 100 % success of India against pakistan in world cup history so far.

4. If Team India really wants to gift Sachin the World cup for his contribution to cricket in India - They have to win this. Whole India wants this win for gods sake. No Australia and SA - we have a great chance to lift the cup.

5. Rejuvenated Pak under Afridi - They are in roaring form the tournament so far. If we do not them panic - it is difficult to beat them on the ground. It means Sehwag should take the game away. No excuses here of his flamboyancy nature.

6. The visit of The Pakistani PM, Mr. Gilani  to visit the match only adds more spice to the match. It would be welcome by cricketing fraternity.

7. A Seamer friendly track to aid in flood lights  - can add more chaos the decision to bat first or chase ?
If Pakistan fields in the night - they would be all over us. Dhoni's toss troubles can land us in more trouble.

8. This win sets the tone for the immediately coming  funfilled event- the IPL, A loss here means it would crash millions of hearts and it takes more than a month or so for people to come to reality with cricket.

9. " Rawalpindi Express "Akthar on the verge of retirement - Will he play ? Can we see for the last time the fierce battle between Sachin/ Sehwag Vs Akhtar ?

10.Who is aggressive "with the ball" ? - Afridi or H'bhajan ?

All in all  - A crazy day for all the cricket maniacs and it comes a with a tag line - "Watch it if you are brave hearted " - The tag line of true thriller.

Status of Education in India - A national survey report

According to the latest 'Annual Status of Education Report', while elementary school enrolment levels in India's villages are high across the country, there is a lot of scope for improvement in school facilities. Most urgent is that attention needs to be paid to the learning component at government schools. While more than 90% of Indian children in rural areas may be attending primary school, nearly half of them cannot read simple sentences or do simple math, according to a recent nationwide survey conducted in 485 rural districts across 28 of India's 35 states and union territories. Despite the government's concerted efforts, 1.4 crore village children still remain out of school.

However, a pleasant surprise thrown up by the 'Annual Status of Education Report ' (ASER) conducted by the Delhi-based non-governmental organization Pratham together with hundreds of local NGOs, is that students in Bihar and Chhattisgarh (states that have the worst educational facilities) show higher learning capabilities in reading and arithmetic compared to children from Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Gujarat which have higher enrolment rates and better school infrastructure.

School-going children in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, home to India's infotech hubs, were among the bottom five in terms of arithmetic abilities -- 76% of Standard V students in Karnataka and 68% in Tamil Nadu were unable to do simple division. "These states must seriously examine the way mathematics is taught in schools," the report suggests. These states are in the company of Orissa, where 69% of children showed poor math ability, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh where the figures were 68% and 62% respectively.
Kerala tops in terms of reading capability, whereas West Bengal tops in arithmetic. However, the former finds a place only in reading ability, and Haryana only in arithmetic.
The results of the government-commissioned survey are an indictment of its much-vaunted elementary education drive, the Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, which aims to achieve universal elementary education by 2010.

The survey shows that while 93.4% of the 332,971 children interviewed in 191,057 households in 9,521 villages across the country were enrolled in school, attendance rates did not match up, and the quality of education they receive did not give them an edge over the millions of Indian children in villages who do not go to school.
The survey measured the schools' success in imparting the three 'R's (reading, writing and arithmetic -- considered the fundamentals of formal learning), along with enrolment and attendance rates, to draw the government's attention to the promise of making education a fundamental right of the Indian child.

Many states like Kerala, Karnataka, Uttaranchal, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat have less than 4% of children in the 6-14 age-group out of school.

In fact, Goa has overtaken Kerala as the state with the lowest number of out-of-school children -- only 0.3% of all children in the tiny coastal state do not go to school, compared to 1.6% of Kerala's children. Karnataka comes third with 1.9%, followed by Uttaranchal (2%), Tamil Nadu (2.7%) and Maharashtra (2.8%). Gujarat placed seventh, with 3.6% of its children out of school. Madhya Pradesh comes eighth with 4%, followed by Punjab (4.3%), West Bengal (4.4%), Chhattisgarh (4.7%), Haryana (5.3%) and Uttar Pradesh (7.3%). Andhra Pradesh (7.4%), Orissa (8.9%), Jharkhand (9.8%) and Rajasthan (10.4%) are at the bottom of the list. Bihar comes in last in terms of enrolment figures.

Quality does matter

I was going to Miyapur from KPHB, Hyderabad to bring my car from service station.  I took share auto, I saw a poor kid with 10Kg school bag travelling with me. Somehow I was very impressed with him and started chatting with him. From my discussion I found that he is poor, studying 5th class in a school 10KM away from his home. Every day he travels via share autos (as he cannot afford a school bus) and crosses the Mumbai highway twice to go to school. I also understood that his parents though they are illiterates they are committed for education for their children, I think is a good sign for the country.

I got feeling that these kind of kid will do wonder in future. Again out of curiosity I asked him about how it is going in the school. He is happy to go and come back every day, has some good company to play and talk etc. But to my surprise he cannot read simple Telugu /English words like name plates of buses, Names of the shops etc. He cannot do basic Math like if 5 autos crosses in 1 hour how many will cross in 5 hours, not very sure about tables after 10 etc. He gets beaten by the teachers often but he never minds it as his parents are crueler.

I started worrying about the kid and his future say if he is going to spend 5 more years to realize that the education he is going through is not sufficient to have his living and also waste of time.  For all practical purposes only 10th class will detain you from progressing to next class if you don’t have the knowledge. I see in the news paper that SSC pass percentage has gone up from 70% to 80%, I got a doubt that is this kid an exception? I have searched in the internet to see how India is doing in primary education.

These are the figures:

According to the recent ‘Annual Status of Education Report', while elementary school enrolment levels in India's villages are high across the country, there is a lot of scope for improvement in school facilities.

The data for ASER 2005 was collected in November- December 2005 -- 20 randomly selected villages were surveyed in each participating district. In each village, the ASER team visited 20 randomly selected households and interacted with all children (in the age-group 6 to 14).

This survey clearly indicates the standards of primary schools in extremely low in rural areas. If 90% children are below the expected level, this problem will be compounded in secondary and higher secondary education also. Very less % of student that are not par with primary education can change the situation in secondary school and a new set of students among who are at decent level will join them as well.

So many initiative were taken to provide education for children like Sarwa Sikha Abiyan, Anganwadi, Mid day meal program, building infrastructure like school buildings, benches, blackboards, Computers (?) but nobody is accountable (or at least even worried about) how many are getting benefited out of it?

What I am saying is after some poor student our of his difficulties able to read up to SSC and he is not able to read a news paper or do his own accounting, what is that he has done for  10 years spending 8 hours every day? If he/she would have joined as child laborer in Tea stall/ House maid/ leather shop etc may be he would have find a way to live by 10 years. See, the kid never understands the value of education but society, we, Govt and others only advocates the importance (and we should) and join them into schools.

My question in aren’t we cheating him? Don’t you think this the biggest problem India is facing right now, as we are talking about the fundamental right and the future of more than 300 million (150 million in primary schools and others) students of this country?

Hard look at Aarogyasri - Private Doctors healthy and people unhealthy

The National Sample Survey pointed out that 1,10,000 people who needed some medical care or the other every day in Andhra Pradesh chose to go without treatment. Another 17,500 people visited hospitals both in the private and public sector and a majority of them met the expenditure on treatment out of their pocket.

Lets also take a look budget allocations for aarogyasri ?

1. 2008- 1200 crores
2. 2009- 1325 crores
3. 2010 - 1000+ crores
4. 2011 - 900 crores ( due to some newly inttroduced taxes on Arogyasri) .

It accounts to 5000 crores in the last four years.
The recent proposal for a super speciality hospital in Mangalagiri cost 100 crores.
If some one has vision really "for the people " - then in this four years  with 5000 crores budget , there should have been 50 superspeciality hospitals with 2 for each district.
It would have been a tremendous from government to provide superspeciality treatment to people.
Let us not worry about operational costs - it is investing 1000 crores every year anyway..

In the present scenario where is all this money going ? - This money is going private SS Hospitals .

  • There are have been complaints that the docrots are resorting to surgeries even for smaller things for drawing more money.
  • There is atleast 15% fake arogyasri withdrawls on fake names.
  • There are reports that Some sections of private doctors forming a syndicate are ensuring some key diseases not covered in the state.

If Government has any means of integrity for ensuring proper health of the people - it should bring the aarogysri under the  government cloud and not leave the private people for squeezing the money.

  • Also aarogyasri should be extended to all the people - irrespective of caste, religion and commericial viability for it is need for everyone especially " middle class " where there is no mercy shown by anybody and they are forced live with the cost of living at par with a higher society.
  • It should also bring locality into consideration - where areas like Nalgonda struggling with poor sanity and prone to have bone and kidney issues should be brought under the coverage. Bring knee surgeries for the old under this.

Government - IF you want to bring a welfare scheme , bring welfare to the needy people and not to fill your politician's pockets.

Interesting Stat : India crime acquittance rate 50 % of total world crime acquittance

Crime Acquittance rate in India is half of the world's total  crime acquittance .
Crime acquittance rate suggests the rate of persons being found "not guilty" after they are convicted for a crime.

The diagram shows an alarming figure , which show the acquittance rate in India is dangerously high : This clearly speaks of serious loop holes  in the judiciary well exploited by the lawyers since they are the ones who defend the criminals .

If judiciary is debated to be clean - then police structure should be seriously questioned - as to why so many are "falsely convicted " ?

The second in the list itself is so much far - making a mockery of our police and judiciary system

Women and Child Welfare people eating away the new-born's food ? India has the highest percentage of undernourished children

There is a budget allocation of 12,650 crores  from centre alone for child nutrition and women welfare , but we top the world with high degree of underweight children.
Alarmingly India counts to 42 % of the total underweight and mal-nutrition children in India
These politicians seems to eat even the new-born's food. This is really a pathetic situation in the country. These are the details.
According to the new survey of Global Hunger Index, India has the high preponderance of underweight children especially below the age of five. The country ranks 67 among the 84 countries and the hunger level are quite dismaying. According to International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) of Washington, while Somalia, Angola, Afghanistan and Chad had the highest death rate of children under age 5 while underweight children of about 40% were found in countries like India, Bangladesh, Yemen and Timor Lest
Getting overall results it was found that “Index of children who are underweight is more globally”, according to the survey underwent by ‘Global Hunger Index’. GHI depends on three ratios:
  • The ratio of children who are under nourishment
  • The ratio of underweight children who are below five age
  • The ratio of mortality rate of children
In South Asia, among the other countries, India was found to be having higher hunger rate than the per capita Gross National Income (GNI), even when compared to China
The reports found for India discovered that “The high underweight level of child is mainly because of the less social status of women as well as low nutrition to women”
Even factors like poor administration, gender discrimination, inequality, conflict and diseases all contribute to the high level of hunger rate. Moreover it was found that more boney children live in Africa and Asia than other countries at the rte of 40% and 36% respectively. According to the results of World Health Organization, about 44 % children in India were underweight and about 48% were found stunted.
According to the report of UNICEF, “In India, the underweight children counts to about 42% of overall world’s underweight children, with 31% stunted”

Media - Journalism hitting rock bottom in trusted professions.

Its time for media to wake up and do a post-mortem or else they will find themselves in a very damaging position.

By 2001 , there was permission given for "one" news channel.
Now  there are 172 news channels live and 96 are waiting for approval.
Overall there are 7.5 million copies of news papers are sent home daily.
With this massive presence in people news channels are trying portray  larger-than-life picture .

In a recently conducted survey of most trusted professions  :

Teachers , Fire Fighters , Farmers lead the pack of trusted professions
while the bottom set includes Journalists, real estate agents and ofcourse politicians at the rock bottom( "bottom of bottoms").

Thanks to Radia tapes, Media has seen it worst face in the public mirror.
The survey revealed that out of 172 channels as many as 150 has visual poltical affiliation and they can be called as "sponsored channels" and not news channels.

Its time media come together and save their back, otherwise they will be treated as daily soap TV serials.

DMK manifesto ... lots of free stuff on offer ...another 10 years of DMK .. nothing will be left to buy

35 KG of rice to BPL families
Laptop for SC/ST students ( what about other poor students...may be anyways they will vote na,..!!! )
Free mixies and Grinders to woman..
And existing free policies would be continued .....
Free Colour TVs
Rice @ Re.1/- per KG.

At this rate if DMK rules , Along with TVs and  mixies- refrigirators , motor bikes, mobile phones will be free ( Oh!!! my God am I giving more ideas to Tamil politicians....?????)
Come vision 2020 - There will not be anything bought in Tamil Nadu , all FMCG and Mobiles will be on offer for free.

Government will probably increase bars, wine shops , belt shops and get back all the subsidy amount , otherwise the inflation will hit sky high since nothing under the sky is bought - all that is manufactured is distributed. So, there would not be any money in- all money out . It would 1/0 case.

Wake up guys -  Don't bluff the poor with freebies ....
Every month - a BPL family  is getting a subsidy of 700/- on average , but spending 1500/- on liqour and liquor related diseases and deaths.

Btw, what about the middle class people earning 5000-6000/- per month - no subsidies for them - which means they have to buy land of 10000/- sq yard, get rice for 30/- a KG , onions for 80/- a KG, rent a house for 2000/- , pay huge amounts to Doctors, pay fees of 20000/- year if they want to study engineering.
You will be successfully killing middle class and bringing them under BPL very soon.

100th 100 waits for "100"dulkar - Wishing Sachin for more...

Batting Maestro Tendulkar is all set to get his 100th ton making him the unique "Ton"dulkar of cricket.
It is heights of stupidity when there were some moron articles floating about his hundreds and team vicotries...
For those, take sachin away and see those matches, we would have lost comprehensively dudes...

just imagine a day in office for us - where we gave sleepless nights and heart-out  in the project to meet the targets and there was a critical bug in some of our peer's work and the release is stalled. we will be most disappointed and how would it be , if some near coffee corner talks rubbishly that because this gave such an effort the release is stopped .... you would wonder as what you can do more in life....:)

The recently concluded ODI series against SA in SA where there were  hardly any 250 + scores  to chase , but no one really looked like staying there except Kohli.

It was his century against England that made us get atleast one point and be comfortable in the points table.
May be now, we see some match winners in the looks of Sehwag , Yuvi et., but its sachin  who all the way from last 20+ years. As an opener , the role you are expected to do is  to set-up the match for a big score.

5 years before to now ... we had sachin and Sehwag scoring centuries to set up the match
10 years before ... we had sachin and Saurav scoring centuries to set up the match
15 years before sachin and x are scoring centuries to set up the match
20 years before sachine and y are scoring centuries to set up the match

Even now , you are not sure of good fight without sachin  on a given day . Be it a slow turning track, bouncy track , hostile swing bowling , sachin looks classy  and essy  against the rest of the best.

Probably - the only way to understand the pattern is - Sachin scores at excellent strike on any ground in this world. There is hardly any day in his life , when he scored a century at a stike rate of 60 or 70.
So, sachin gives an impression when he is scoring as if the track is a belter and 350+ is possible , but the moment he gets out suddenly the devils in the pitch start showing up and others tend to panic in the bid to take on from where he left. This is what happened even in the last match against SA.

He scored a fifty , or hundred or a hundred partnership in 150 + innings which essentially is his role as an opener in 11 member playing team. The frequency of such  innings  is just unmatchable 1 in every 2.
OOps!!! I am just talking of ODIs here. Tests some other time.

On probably a great milestone day tomorrow, we wish Sachin a great century ahead with victory for India and sets him up for another 50 tons.

Idea continues to top worst ad-creativity - Dont forget Micromax Weird Akki smile

Idea have everything...... huge money , stars but their ads continue suck big time....
First of all , there is Jr.Bachan who hardly acts. For a 20 secs he needs a huge story theme , 20 actors and lot of others giving best to get the ad running. He finally comes in the last second and gives his typical weird look with small dialogue. So much investment Jr. for a 20 sec. advt. ?

They have got all the ex-world cup captains in the present going ICC world cup . Enormous combination with Arjuna, Imran Khan,Steve waugh etc., and what is their creativity from here...??

One anchor asks .."if some stranger asks a captain to give clue on pitch report - what should the captain say ?" - is this a question one should ask to steve waugh ?
and even worse anwer - "no idea" .

The anchor asks - Ranatunga .." if someone asks a captain before the match about the choice of toss in advance " -  Ranatunga answers - " No idea ".
Why do you want to hire such big people and go with 0000 creativity ?
Any cricket familiar person feels these questions so silly

Jr.AB  closely fought with Akki who gave an irritating performance with disgusting smile and spoiled the IPL games in his micormax ad. JKCement , Karbonn mobiles in 2010.

What I can infer is that most disgusting ads are coming from Mobiles- I take an exception here of Vodafone - jujzhoos they rocked. They started to get boring , but with latest 3G theme they are back to rocking again.

UPA ready to pack bags - but who will chair it ?

Faced by the flood of corruption charges and controversies - its shameless oppurtunism that UPA is  holding on to power. If there was a serious poltical party at the centre , it would have brought down elections by now and would have taken the apex position.
Everyone knows BJP is not that serious contender at the center - as they do not have any nation-wide agenda at this point of time other than - saving power in K'taka , and stating time and again that Hindutva is not their agenda and trying to woo muslim and other minority voters.
They have never been together, with weak leadership and cultural differences between BJP and RSS at the top - they have more than "n" problems to solve before they can lead  the Nation.

This inefficiency of BJP is helping UPA a lot , since people have no choice.
Its Sad that someone like ManMohan's regime is seeing the worst shades of corruption and showing UPA's helpnessless to handle it.

Its long dragging issues in states like T-issue in AP is not helping either. It will inevitably be another coalition alliance again for the next elections.

WikiLeaks : N-Impact in Japan should wakeup these boody politicians who are indulged cash for N-deal in India . Mr . Adi kesav and Mr. Manda are you listening ?

The impact of Nuclear reactor  breakdown has resulted in the Emperor of Japan asking people to vacate an area of 1200 sqaure KMs since the area is unlivable with nuclear radaitions.
In terms of area of Andhra pradesh people, it covers a complete of area of 2-3 districts leaving not even a centi-meter. That's the impact of a nuclear reactor breakdown.

Our bloody politicians just don't bother about all this . As per wiki  leaks, all that they  needed  was 10 crores  per one headless heads to allow sign-on the N-deal . They should have searched for commonsense some where in their pant pockets for once about why US is pushing so hard. US has bought areas like Alaska from  Russia and safely placed their nuclear reactors so that damage would be minimal for them. They want to place these reactors safe in other countries - so that their people are safe incase of these situations.
People like Adi keshavalu , Manda were so active and desparate to get away from the party whip and somehow vote in factoring of N-deal.  These cruel people along with UPA should be put in the court of law for damaging the interests and life of people and at least elected as people representatives and for acting against the interest of people , they should be booked with FIR under cheating case and should not be allowed to contest in politics.

Redefine the Democracy - pass with 50 % +1 majority works no more

Its time to redefine "Democracy" in India.
A system with a  success definition of a 50 % + 1 for an MLA seat, for coming to power at center or state etc., does not work anymore - since the whole time is spent "managing" rather than leading the people.

It can be better explained with three examples :

In the history of  Andhra Pradesh - there are two significant periods where there was a "definitive" ruling . ( I am not debating here on corruption / subsidy policies etc.,) . The point is a leader implementing his people's agend without fear.

1. When NTR has won for the first time in Andhra Pradesh
2. When YSR has become the cheif minister for the first time.
Both times the leadership was clear - had their tasks cutout for people welfare and implemented them without fear of xyz things.

At the national level, everybody even remembers today of one particualr regime - when  Mrs Indira Gandhi became the first time prime minister of India . She has revolutionarized banking, urban land ceiling etc.,

In other states, Gujarat is a standing example of leadeship.

"In all these achievements there is one commanility - the party has won with clear majority at that time with more than 60% seats."
Hence there was no fear of losing power, there was pressure from people's expectations and leaders did their best to reach them.

The extreme is the present situation in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka where people have clsoe to 50 % seats and every damn guy in the state can threaten the government. It can be some gali or jagan or xyz with 10-15 MLA's can form the camp and threaten the government and the ruling party's primary responsibility is to manage and remain in power.

If it had been 60 %  for being in power, by this time there would have been either elections and people can choose Kiran or Chandrababu or Jagan - rather than the present turmoil where people are playing hide and seek and merging other political parties without any political commonlaity just to remain in power.

Its time Harbhajan is given a break and bring Ashwin back into the team in World cup

Dhoni who is fast becoming a "manager " than  a leader  as well as the team management need to understand that the wishes of 100 crore Indians desire to win world cup  should be given the front seat than their equations and calculations.

Enough damage is already done in the tournament so far by having Piyush and Harbhajan in the playing X1 and keeping Ashwin out.

India is struggling to share the new ball combi for zaheer on one hand and wicket less spinners on the other hand.we are the weakest bowling unit at present in the world cup so far.Bringing Ashwin into the team solves both the problems at one shot.
Its world cup. One should show clinical attitude and go about destroying opposition unlike our team who is just about " managing " and on top of it blabeering by saying that " Ashwin is already mentally fit " (what the heck ..then what are you waiting for ..this is world cup man ...realize this . You can do all these gambles in your commercial IPLs and not in world cup.

Harbhajan is a great player - but to be honest Ashwin is much better in current form.

Million March - A worst day in T-movement

what are some sections of  the T-Activitists who attended million march intend do  if all them are in hyderabad ?
They want to loot the properties.  They want to destroy culture. They want to create fear. They want to ensure Telangana is not formed by creating enough fear in the rest of andhrapradesh people about their life in hyderabad.

liquor bottles, stone hurling  on the statues of great people like gurram jashuwa, annamayya, erra pragada etc.,  , throwing chappals on people's representatives  and burning of public vehicles sums up million march on tank bund today.

As usual government failed to stop it since most ineffective system exists at present. They cannot save one kilo meter from destruction, but give brave pressmeets and interview as if everything can be controlled by them.

Mr. Kodandaga Ram who explained that it will be a mature peaceful movement has to rub his nose on Tank bund if he has any soul / conscience .  If this is what he understood the value of culture as a teacher - one can understand his followers.

Madhu Yashki and KK got beaten  with chappals and received bad abuse.
Now- who are they ? they are people representatives of the state. Throwing a chappal at your representative is like spitting into air. It will fall on you.

Jagan and Chandra Babu are busy with their own personal agendas not bothered about all this ? Political equations :)

If this is how T-movement is inteneded to go , it talks about characterless leadership and which is "used"  by every poltician in this state to his/her selfish advantage. Some polticians use it to come to power , some to dethrone the existing party and some to extend their political career.
