IAS officers poor . Atleast that is inference from their public declaration of assets....


These are the details after they have made their declaration of assets public :

The annual property returns were submitted by IAS officials in the state makes mockery of the system .

The records of officers like Mr Navin Mittal (former Hyderabad collector), Mr Jayesh Ranjan, Mr R.P. Sisodia, Mr G. Ashok Kumar and Ms Vani Prasad showed nil properties.

The state administration boss, Mr S.V. Prasad, declared that he owned a plot in Visakhapatnam and a house built for Rs 2.6 lakh in 1982 in the same city.

The CM’s special chief secretary, Mr J. Satyanarayana, valued his house in Prasasan Nagar at Rs 25 lakh, while another CM secretary, Mr K. Jawahar Reddy, submitted only the details of his movable property and ignored giving the details of his immovable property which the Centre had asked for.

 The principal secretary of revenue, Mr Asutosh Mishra. on the other hand, has claimed that he was not aware of the current value of his flat in Somajiguda, 500-sq-yard plot in Guttala Begumpet and 417-sq-yard land in Bhuvaneswar.

Mr B.P. Acharya submitted that he owned a house built on 477-sq-yard at Mahendra Hills, the present value of which, according to him was Rs 10 lakh.  ( Hey ...hoo..an independent house in 477 sq... for 10 lakhs ..I will buy for 15 lakhs..please give me..)

Mr G. Anantha Ramu owns a 2,400 sq feet house in J. P. Nagar in Bengaluru, which according to him is worth just Rs 4 lakh.

The Transco CMD, Mr Ajay Jain, owns a small shop in Lucknow worth only Rs 1.5 lakh
Finally - The collectors of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy, Mr Gulzar and Mr V. Seshadri, do not own any property.
